What should I do before playing with my slime?

Gently wash and dry the porous surface that you will be using to play with your slime. Also, make sure to wash your hands with soap and water! After following both of these steps, you are ready to open your slime jar and play! 

My slime arrived very sticky! What should I do?

When the weather is warm, slimes may melt during transit. This causes the slime to feel very sticky when touched. To fix this you can mix small amounts of activator into the slime until it is no longer sticky to the touch. But BE CAREFUL! Slimes can quickly become over-activated and tough to play with.

What is activator & how do I make it?

Activator is a solution made with water and borax that when mixed into slime, makes it less sticky. To make activator, stir 1 cup of warm water with 1 tablespoon of borax (provided with each order) . After aproximately 1 minute of mixing, carefully add drops of this solution into your sticky slime until not sticky to the touch. 

Shipping & Handling

What should I do if my package gets stolen?

Please contact USPS immediately with the tracking number provided to you by email/text. We are not responsible for stolen packages after they leave our facility. 

When will my package arrive?

All orders are shipped within 2-5 business days of the transaction unless stated otherwise. Once your order is shipped, you will recieve an email/text featuring a USPS tracking number notifying you of the location of your package and when it will be delivered. 

The shipping length is dependant on the time window chosen at checkout. The shipping length should be added to production time to calculate arrival date. ex: 5 day production time + 3 day shipping window = dellivery in UP TO 8 days. 

Can I make returns/cancelations? 

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns due to the handmade nature of our products. For cancelations, please email tropicalslimes.order@gmail.com within 1 hour of your purchase.

What if my slimes arrive damaged?

Please reach out to us immediately via email (tropicalslimes.order@gmail.com) providing photos and detailed description of damage. We will asses the damage, and decide wheather or not the order should be refunded.

Right now, Tropical Slimes is transitioning to 100% eco-friendly, biodegradable packaging. With every order placed, we are using 50% of the profits generated to purchase new materials that are more sustanable and have a better impact on Earth. This means that every dollar you spend on Tropical Slimes helps reduce pollution. Some packaging changes we will be making over the next few weeks include switching from plastic bubble mailers to cardboard boxes, from plastic tape to paper tape, from bubble wrap to biodegradable packing peanuts and recycled paper shreds, plastic extra bags to paper extra boxes, and more.

Donations

Here at Tropical Slimes, we donate all generated profits to Ocean Conservancy. This charity hosts many ocean cleanups and protects multiple species of marine wildlife.
